It is most likely a dominance behaviour but it could also be a hormonal imbalance, has she been bred from? I'd also get the vet to run some bloods to rule out anything nasty, if they come back fine...

She hasn't been bred from yet, she's 2 now and i'm having her hips and heart xrayed in june. She did have heartworm. Though, but she's been over that for a while, other than that she's very healthy.

Re the blood tests it is only to check her hormone levels. If thats fine then I'd have to look seriously at if she may have a dominance issue as mounting is frequently the first sign of a dominant...
